And now let us add Christopher Pincher to the list. Whilst not convicted he is under parliamentary investigation for, allegedly, groping two men whilst under the influence if alcohol.
it was in a private members club so shouldnt that be a private matter?

@yokel A sexual assault is not a private matter, wherever it occurs.
no but I dont see what it has to do with his employer(the govt) when it happens out of work hours not in work premises, and he was "goosing" someone not rape, in the old days you'd just tell him to keep his hands to himself, maybe give him a good clout.

@yokel We're not in the old day now though, we're in a "woke" culture and things are different. Either way the ramifications of it now look like they are bringing the government down. One lie from Bors too many, by th ebooks of it. He was utterly foolish to endorse someone that is being investigated for sexual assault. Big changes in the next couple of weeks, methinks.
yep, 2 ministers resigned, maybe more to follow, I reckon Boris's days are numbered.

It looks that way. BBC News is now claiming 6 more have resigned, but I couldn't find any names attached to that.
the rats are escaping from the sinking ship that is Boris's govt.

They certainly are. Michael Gove has been sacked for telling Boris to resign. At this rate Bojo won't have enough loyal people to form a cabinet.
48 resigned as of this morning, 21 of them govt ministers, dont see how Boris can carry on.

"Boris to announce his resignation to the country today"!!

Boris has now resigned as party leader but not as PM.
the selection process to replace him will start next week and could take 3 months.

He's not going to rush things - parliamentary recess starts in a couple of weeks and he will sit that out on PM's pay - if he's going he should go now.
its normal for a prime minister to stay until a successor is chosen, its what they did with May and also Cameron.

It is but, given the circumstances surrounding Boris lies about Chris Pincher, I think there really is a case in this instance for him to go and Deputy PM Dominic Raab to temporarily take over.
